Michelle's Prompt: "It's crisp as an apple this morning!"
Adam's Poem:
What a morning! Crisp and clean!
What a shiner! What a sheen!
If it were an apple, this glorious day,
I'd slice me a piece without delay.
Bite it,
Crunch it,
Bite it again.
Savor those sweet insides, oh yes,
I'd savor those sweet insides.
What a day! So cold and tart!
What a way for fall to start!
If it were an apple, this day so sunny,
I'd bake me a pie with nuts and honey.
Bite it,
Chew it,
Bite it again.
Savor those sweet insides, oh yes,
I'd savor those sweet insides.
Oh, this day! What chilled perfection.
I'm sending myself in this day’s direction.
If it were an apple, this day just up,
I'd squeeze it into a giant cup.
Sip it,
Swirl it,
Sip it again.
Savor those sweet insides, oh yes,
I'd savor those sweet insides.
